Melbourne’s CBD skyline is going through its own renaissance of high-rise tower construction with a number of recent approvals. PSA is again providing reliable construction programming and monitoring and reporting as was the case in the mid to late 80’s when PSA made its name in the new field of Project Management.
This latest engagement sees PSA working in a specialist, independent monitoring and reporting role on behalf of the Principal QICGRE for the development at 80 Collins St which includes a 43,000m2 premium grade office tower, a 300-room hotel, integrated retail, food and beverage offerings as well as refurbishment works to the existing 80 Collins St tower.
The multi-staged handover is a challenging delivery model that demands PSA’s systems and processes to measure progress against the project deliverables. This provides the Principal with clear communication of the contractor’s status of works and what is required to be undertaken to achieve the various deliverables.
